Typical

Thinking I was making edamame, I pop a bag of peas in the microwave.

Just a quick snack for the kiddos.

Who wants a little bowl of peas? I ask hopefully.

Sidney, defiantly “I don’t want peas!”

Okay, just offering! Chill out little lady.

Just a minute later and Jackson happily receives his bowl of peas. And I’m just happy he’s eating peas.

Sidney, accusingly “He gets peas?! What did you get me??”

It’s just peas, babe. You said you didn’t want any. Actually, you pretty much yelled at more for offering, but we’ll let that go. Sorry kiddo, my bad.

Sidney, full of jealousy. “I want peas too!!! Where are MY peas?!!”

Round a round we go. Just a typical conversation with my daughter.
